Post Laying out Players' Histories better

First off, I want to say how much I love the Players Histories. I've been doing this by hand, and you've just saved me a bunch of work.

In the below thread EDM has a nice idea of re-organizing the Player History under a system of sub-headings.

<a href="http://www.ootpbb.com/board/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=11&t=000555&p=3" target="_blank">http://www.ootpbb.com/board/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=11&t=000555&p=3</a>

Great idea, but I would like to take it another step - there is already a button to toggle between "Scouting" and "History" - why not give us a row of 4 or 5 buttons. You could have "Scouting", "Injuries", "Transactions", "Milestones", or some derivative of that.

I mostly want a separate button for the Injury History, but once you start down that path, you might as well go all the way.

Though there are some benefits to separating that info, especially if it could be done the way edm suggests in the thread you have linked (nice idea's), there are also a few drawbacks. Besides the time/effort in the coding there is also the look of the html player pages. Sometimes the players history might look less cluttered listed in sequential order rather than having 4 or 5 player history headings on the bottom of the players page.

We want all that info but deciding how to show it all so it's easy to access is a tricky thing. Currently the player history can be difficult to read, especially for the vet players with a lot of notations. If line breaks could be added after each player event and list 'bullets' before each item then I don't think the need to separate different types of events would seem as necessary anymore.
