AOBL Has two playoff teams open!!!!

Hey guys,
I have allowed the owner of the Pittsburgh Pirates to switch teams, and take the vacancy in Boston. I also was notified that the Marlins owner had to step down. Both of these teams were in the post season we just completed. Both won their respective divisions, but were ousted by the wild card winning Cardinals. These teams are still pretty much intact, and are in good financial standing. We just contracted to wasted teams in order to try and improve the overall balance of talent in the league, and the free agnet pool looks to be very strong this season. I need to fill both of these teams quickly so that new ownership can make the nescessary moves before proceeding to the offseason.

The Pirates, who won 111 games this past season, contain players such as 3 time, AOBL NL Cy Young Winner, Pedro Martinez, 2-time NL MVP Sammy Sosa, who is due to become a free agent unless new ownership wishes to offer an extension, Closer Eddie Guardado, led the league in saves, and 3 26-yr old stud pitchers by the names of Mark Prior (13-8, was injured for 2 months), Robert Brownlie (19-10), and Bryan Bullington (20-6).. This team was heavily favored to win it all this season, but fielding mistakes hurt them in the playoffs, and they were ousted in the NLCS. The NL Central is by far the toughest, and most competetive in the AOBL. The Pirates, Cardinals, and Reds are almost always in a dog fight til the final day of the season. If you want great competetion with tough rivals, the Pirates are the team to be.

The Marlins are just two seasons from losing in the World Series, and barely missed the post season in 2005. They have been pretty much intact since the beginning. The owners of both the Pirates and Marlins were very active owners, and the success shows that. Some names you might now who are on the Marlins team are, Josh Beckett, Mark Beurhle, Brad Penny, and AJ Burnett, not to mention 2nd year sensation, Denny Bautista, who just finished a 20-3 campaign. Some of the offense included is Ichiro, Carlos Beltran, and Miguel Tejada.

If you're interested in picking one of two quality teams. please fillout the link here, and your application will be submitted to me, and you will be contacted ASAP.

I want to thank everyone who applied. The response was more than i could have begun to imagine. Both teams were filled by the evening. I will continue to accept applications of course, but, you will be put on a waiting list, and contacted as teams open up.

Once again, thanks for the replies....
