Help with Pierre's editor

I'm currently playing a challenge mode league, and my star catcher's strikeout rating just rolled over from 10 to 0. I've tried fixing it using Pierre's editor, but the rating just resets itself to 0 as soon as I restart the game. Am I up a creek on this one?

Ouch, could be....I'm not sure there is a way around this.

How do you import a player using the editor?
