Hey gotta hand it to the arrogant Pats fans, the Panthers were clearly no match for them and the game shouldn't even have been played as the Pats were OBVIOUSLY far superior and needed little effort to destroy the weak Panthers 32-29, the embarassment Carolina must feel right now has got to be overwhelming........

I agree. How can a veteran like him, that has kicked off hundreds of times in practice and in games, shank one out of bounds?

the best team won.

play this game 20 times, and the Patriots would have won most of them.

IMO we are best off abandoning that sinking ship that is Off Topic to the rats infesting it and just starting a whole new Baseball Forum from scratch.

No bitterness or jealousy from me, I picked the Pats to win by a field goal, which is exactly what happened, just annoyed by the pats fans that thought they were gonna blow these guys out, like the Panthers aren't getting paid or something.

Funny that a similar instance is how the Giants downward spiral this season started (against Dallas). Fox, of course, was an assistant to former Giants coach Jim Fassel. I wonder if Fassel, who went on a binge about Fox being HIS guy who HE brought in, recently, will say he taught Fox that trick too.

Eh yeah but I don't think if they played 20 times that the pats would win more than 12, I don't think the pats were THAT much better.

to each his own - I'm pretty confident that the Pats really were that much better. Not dissing Carolina at all, but, really, without a couple of big plays by them, this game wouldn't have been nearly as close.

(disclaimer - I am NOT a Pats fan...just calling it like I see it, and months ago it was clear to me that the Pats were going all the way)

I also picked the Pats to win it all a long time back my prediction was Pats over eagles so I was pretty close but I still don't see the Pats winning more then 12 out of 20 from Carolina. The Pats had some key plays too lets not forget Vrabel sacking Delhomme and causing the fumble that opened the game up at the end of the 1st half. But as you said to each his own, I think we both agree the Pats were better, just a question of how much better.

Kasay didn't lose the game for the team.

The game was decided when the Panthers chose to receive prior to the kickoff.

Precisely the same way another praticed veteran can botch a 31-yard chipper. Dumb luck on both sides of the field last night.
