An Important Question about how the game works.

Important to me anyways.

When I sim fights and have a replay number set on (for example, Page vs. Olin Norris fight 100 times), and the condition in the 'select fighters' screen is set to 'conduct conditioning check', does this happen for each of the 100 fights?

I was looking at the HTML output of these multi-sim fights and in the 'pre-fight analysis' it announces the fighters condition. This is only done once regardless of how many times you had them fight. So it made me wonder if that was the condition for EVERY fight in that 100 fights replay, or if a conditioning check was run for each of the 100 fights.

In the Norris vs. Page example which I ran, Page won 100 fights and lost none to Norris. That makes me believe that each fight worked with the original condition check (in this case top condition). If this is true, then I believe it should be changed and the HTML changed to reflect the condition of each fight.

An answer and comments would be appreciated. Thank you.

I would alsdo like to know this, as when you are researching fighters and sim them against well known opponents it should be a random check for each fight not one check for all fights simmed.

This is a legitimate and important question. Technically, that check should be done for each fight. Now, I have to make sure that is happening - and I make sure by going through Andreas, the programmer. This seems like one of the "little" but crucial things that are ignored. It would answer a lot of questions about the validity of the process - frankly, I'm guessing it's not functioning correctly, based upon mking55's reports.

I was working at this feature lately and can tell you that the "conduct condition check" setting lets the program choose a condition (according to the fighter's ratings and so on) in each of the multiple scheduled fights. I will add an example and further details later.
In each fight's HTML log file you'll find the condition which has been used for that fight. It's in the prefight summary at the top of the page. The value which has been displayed in versions < 1.1.7 has been wrong! But the correct one has always been used during the fight.
Please keep in mind that the chance that the fighter is not in top condition is pretty small, so in most cases it will just be "Top Condition".

Andreas,

Using the scheduler I add ONE fight. I set the number of repeats for this one fight to 100.

The HTML log says in the pre-fight analysis the fighter is in 'top condition'.

But there are 100 fights and there is no pre-fight analysis for each of the 100 fights that I see. Where do I find all 100 pre-fight analysis?

I am saying that it looks like every single repeat uses the condition stated in the top pre-fight analysis. So if it says 'top condition', and I have 100 fights set to repeat, the fighter is in 'top condition' for all 100 fights.

If this is not so, please direct me to where I see the condition for each of the 100 fights.

Thanks.

If you set up 100 repeats and click on "Save" in the scheduler grid, a fight log will be saved for each of the 100 fights. In each of these fight logs you'll find both fighters' conditions which were used for the fight.

Thank you. The key is that I need to save before I can see the individual fights.

I have verified, (not that I doubted you), that what you say is correct, and the pre-fight analysis shows different conditions among the fights.

Thank you for clearing this up for me.
