Trouble with 1.1.7 patch

In tried installing the patch several times. I rebooted after each install. The patch seemed to install fine but when I tried to take any action in the game it would lock and I would get a tb1.exe has encountered a problem and must shut down message. The game worked fine with version 1.1.6. I even tried downloading the patch to a temp folder and applying it manually. My Title Bout is in the default directory. Any help would be appreciated before this problem is rolled into version 1.2 of the game.

Are you simply placing the patch exe file into your installation folder? If so, this is not how it should be done for this patch. Instead, download the exe file and run it from the download location. It will ask you for your installation directory information and will then proceed to patch the game for you. This is not the type of patch that can be installed manually.

Thanks for the suggestion but I only tried manually installing after several unsuccessful attempts at regular installation.
