Freezing

Hi,

I am playing into my second season and it seems to be freezing the game and I cannot do anything about it. The day is done and I can go to the next day but the games are not ready to be played. I try to sim the end of the day but just ends up freezing nad not responding. IT is 7/30, the trade deadline, but I waited for 1/2 hour one time and still nothing...could someone please help.

Could you give me your system details? RAM, free HD space, size of league, etc....

Also, have you tried going into the "league setup" and running computer manager for all teams? As I have had the game hang one time due to the fact that an injured SP was next in line to start and left in the rotation.

Its a dell 450, 160mb RAM. It should work fine. I don't get it

How long did you wait the first time it seemed to "freeze"? Did you end up Ctrl+Alt+Del to get out of it?

Have you tried going to the League Setup screen and running computer manager on all teams?

Have you checked all of your rosters/depth charts/ pitching rotations, etc.... (if its freezing at the trading deadline these shouldn't be the cause, but it can't hurt to make sure they are valid)?

Not sure it would have an effect, but how much free hard drive space do you have?

Tried everything. Yes had to ctrl-alt-delete. Have more then a gig free. I don't get this at all.

Did you do anything to the league or use any "outside" or 3rd party programs recently on this particular league?

were any injured players set to start the day? that seems to cause freezing sometimes. the fastest way to fix it is to run the computer manager on all teams. although this will change your lineups too.

Did you have any other programs open or running? Any virus software, etc also?
