OOTP2 trouble

I d/l the free OOTP2 game for work..(it takes up less space than OOTP4, plus I can't order it thru my firewall ugh!) and I was trying to do an historic league...however it crashes when I try the Lahman database 4.5 or Iatrics resorted database.

So I decided to search for any topics on the matter and found one. I believe Scott put a link to where Lahman 3.0 was, but when I try to d/l off that link...I get the D/l but it says its not a valid Winzip file. So now I am hosed because I cant goof off at work lol!

Seriously can someone help me here, so I can get Lahman 3.0 compatible with OOTP2 ? Thanks

I have version 3 backed up on CD. It's about 6MB's so it cant be e-mailed. whats the best way for you to get it? I have a temp ftp I could set-up if your familiar with that? Otherwise, IM or icq. let me know, email is in my profile.

yes long suffering Phillies fan...

i am famaliar with FTP, however at work I have a firewall so its a 20% chance that I could d/l it

same with sending thru ICQ, or AIM or MSN

but if you would like to try the FTP i am more than willing

just let me know
