A Couple Ideas

1. I am sure this has been mentioned in the past, but it would be a great addition to the next OOTP. You make a deal that becomes heavily favored against a GM, he may decide not to deal with you again. Or vice versa, you end up getting a bad deal... and the opposing GM wants to trade more. It makes it much more realistic. A lot of the trading atmosphere in MLB today does deal with all the different personalities.

2. Have seperate team trade/direction strategies. For instance, The Dodgers usually have good pitching, so they should have a setting where they usually go after good pitching. The Yankees today pick up veterans, so perhaps they can have a setting to go after vets.

I guess teams to me in the game seem too much alike. They should all have a different idenity and what they are trying to do that can be customized if necessary.

Great ideas. It would be great to see a "random" gm plan for each of the Computer run teams. Have a sliding bar like the ratings for players and have different options. examples: Pitcher, Power Hitters, Contact Hitters, Defense, Younger Players, Veterans. So if you had Pitcher and Younger players set to 10 - the AI would look for young pitchers first... it would be neat. Of course this would have to change during the season based on the teams need. Wouldn't want to see a team with 25 young pitchers in the minors with no regular players...

True, but the problem with this is that it calls for the implementation of a personality behind the GM- what happens, for example, if I take control of a team for a short period, and then let it ride ? I like the idea, and it would definitely be more realistic, but the implementation worries me.
