Hi,
I'm playing a historical league. I noticed that one of the computer teams had a couple of starters that were injured and used a closer in it's starting rotation. The closer had a DR of A and a DS of E. I put a MR with a DR of B and a DS of * in my starting rotation and he was decent. The only downside is that he rarely lasted past the 5th inning. Is this a "feature' or a bug? I'm running version 4.0c Eric |

Well, if you think about it, it would make more sense to start a pitcher who had some duration (even if it was an E) in starting, rather than a pitcher who had never started before.
This is part of the reason that one duration (good durable starters going 7 innings usually generally in the range of 7-10, 5-6 inning pitchers 5-6, and MR's and closers anywhere from 1-5) would be preferable to the DR and DS.
