BOSI Trade Utility Fixed

You can now trade draft picks while an amateur draft is active. Special thanks to Dave Horn for pointing me in the right direction (I had given up figuring it was a problem with my data model. Turns out it was just me being stupid

).

As for v2, I am almost done with the new importer, and we should be ready to start phase 1 of beta testing in a week or two.

Joe, if you need another beta tester I would be interested in using my league be a guinea pig. As long as your using different table names and such so we could continue using both versions of BOSI. We rely on BOSI in our league, so I wouldn't want to lose v1 while testing v2.

Also, not sure if you ever figured it out or not, but the ammy dup bug is caused by happy fingers. If a user clicks two or more times quickly when they draft it causes the bug. I was able to successfully produce dup picks and frequently create triple picks at will. There are number of ways that could be fixed, I went the lazy route and just made NEW_PLAYER_ID in the AMATEUR_DRAFT_PICKS table a unique field.

I also recently added email to our BOSI so users receive email when they receive BOSI PM's or if its their turn to draft.

In lieu of being able to give you a donation for your fine work, I'd be happy to help anyway I can.

All tables will have bosi_ in front of them for v2. Phase 1 of beta testing is a small team performing testing on a centralized testing server. The team is already assembled, and we will hopefully be able to start data verification in a week or two.

SOB! I am SOOO glad you found that before I disected my code. I haven't built the amateur draft utility for v2 yet, and I planned on debugging my code line by line when I did so to try to find that pain in the butt. The unique field idea sounds like a good one.

Very nice. This will be in v2 for sure, however the users will have the ability to say "dont receive mail from BOSI" just in case. I figure that's the only "polite" thing to do

When you open up the beta to folks outside of the centralized server just let me know. My league tends to have high demands, they find and create problems fast as I've learned.
