Pirates anyone...UBL
The Pittsburgh Pirates are available in the UBL League. The team is coming of a much improved season and has had a very good owner who just has a bit too much on his plate right now. They boast the #1 pitching prospect who is ready for the show, a very nice, young offense, and superstud hitter Chris Woodward (unmatched I'm told vs. RHP). The message boards are active with some nice articles, including Inside the UBL and some others.
Please post on the waiting list in our forums with all the pertinent info. Please include how many other leagues you are in, how long you've played the game, etc... We are about to start the 2006 season on Monday (1/5) with real rosters (from 2003 of course), use reduced ratings for the challenge, and the rules can be found here. Having AIM is preferable, but not required.

Chris Woodward doesn't look to be a super stud hitter a whole 4 in hits and 6 in power

The Woodward thing was a little joke...the current owner who is leaving has told me he always has success with Woodward in all of his experiences...
What do you mean by "clicking something under the bars" as the links in my post work and our site is up and running. If you want to try and catch me on AIM, I might be in and out at "mikedavis76"
