I finished my first season... went trhu proceed to new season, did the free agents, spring training, etc, all ok. Tried to print the league history and the puter froze. Had to do a cold reboot, but was able to get into the saved game no problem. Exited out (cleanly) for a bit, now when I try to get back in I can't even get the game to open (ootp4... running on a P3, 766 MHz, 128ram, go gig HD... win98)
I try to open the game and the screen flickers and reverts to the desktop. I had several older versions I had copied / pasted into an emergency file, tried renaming them to the same name of the last game I was in... no luck Any suggestions what to do next? Do I have to re-install??? thanks for any help |

Have you tried rebooting since this happened?

DUHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
never mind... stupid move on my part ... did a bunch of text exports and moved them to a file to take to work to print (printer ink cheaper at work than at home, after all)... when I was grabbing all of the text export files I accidently grabbed the setup.dat file as well... moved it back where it belongs and all is well |
