I got the same damn thing coming up. Illegal operation. Have plenty of space on my computer and says Illegal Operation. I reinstalled it, try and load my league, Illegal Operation. Ive most likely lost my league and can't find anyway to fix it. If I cannot, I demand a refund.

Do you realize how difficult it is to test software on the number of different possible setups of computer systems there are?

Why do you give me some additional info and I'll see if we can get it running. Like has anything unusual happened since it was able to open? Like a crash, lockup, etc...? I need info about the league and how much is "plenty of space"?

I have to admit, like everyone at one time or another I've experienced small frustration but it immediately passed when Markus e-mailed me back AND everyone on this board quickly supplied answers as well. Some people just won't be satisfied but I give the .400 crew a ton of credit and incredible amounts of thanks.

This is my first problem with OOTP. It just wont let me into my league. I have 40 gigs. It just has that bar tat ays Loading League and when its full it says Illegal Operation.

So you had zero problems, nothing at all happened either within the game or not that was unusual? No crashes, lockups, anything? Now it just doesn't work?

Something must have happened for that one league to all of a sudden stop working. Have you run scandisk or any other PC utilities recently?

From the beginning of the day, when I turned on my computer, I couldnt access my league. Nothing has been used or anything. I just opened up OOTP and couldnt get in.

Add a "logos" folder, I doubt that is the problem, but you never know. Then try it.

Doesn't work. So I'm pretty much guessing that my league is gone and the season went to waste, and that I'll have to begin over, correct?

Well, I am certainly stumped. I have NEVER heard of a season just being lost for no reason, normally a lockup, crash or something is the reason. But regular files on a computer do just "get corrupted" from time to time for no apparent reason.

It is just one of those things that happens with most games at some point, I've had to do it more times than I'd care to remember with just about every game I've played. Might just wanna make a backup copy of your league folder every so often, that way you always have something to go back to.
