I am attempting to do my first ever historical replay and I am having a problem. When I import a season, like 1925, the game fills all of the team rosters except for both New York teams, both Chicago teams, and both St. Louis teams. All of the players from those teams are found in the free agent section. I know I can manually fill the rosters, but I don't think I am really supposed to have to. Anyone else know what is going on. I have the newest patch and I have tried to load multiple years. Any help would be much appreciated.

Upon further inspection of my problem, everyone seems to have a negative age and are about 8'11" tall, weighing over a thousand pounds. The FAQ says that I have an outdated version of the database or of my game. But as I stated earlier, I am using 4.5 (downloaded off of this website) and I am using patch c. Please help.

The new version of the Lahman database appears to have different short names for teams than the previous versions did. (ie Yankees short name is now NYY instead of NYA). These short names are how the game determines which team to assign players to.
Did you select version 4.5 as the database you were creating your new league with? You are asked which database you are using in the league creation screen. Likewise make sure you set the path to the new database. I just created the 1955 league and had no problems. The only problem I have seen is creating 1901 Milwaukee. It was also a problem with the old database.

8'11" 1000lbs+ huh? That's the age of baseball when men were men.

My guess is you are pointing the game to the wrong folder. What is the name of the folder you extracted Lahman 4.5 into? You might want to try and redo it again but from what you are saying I believe you are actually pointing the game to the old Lahman database when creating your league.

Thanks for the help, fellows. The problem ended up being something kinda stupid. I actually downloaded Iatric's file which was meant to alter the 4.0 file. Apparently it altered the 4.5 where it would not read the new team codes. My fault. Oh well, now I've got everything under control. Thanks again to everyone who gave their opinions on how to help.
