out of position

I'm trying to put together teams of old time players. The game recognizes the players but lists some of them out of position. Eddie Matthews is listed as a MR and can only be signed to a minor league contract. What do I do?

This is a database problem, I would suggest you d/l the databases from <a href="http://members.aol.com/_ht_a/sbond78389/OOTP/baseball.htm" target="_blank">here </a>and try them.
