1980s Logo help

I'm starting a new league in 1980 and am looking for good logos that are befitting of the era. I've found one set that had some very good logos. But, some of them are not as clean as others. I'm wondering if I can get some help cleaning up the logos that I can find. I'm not terribly good at this.

Also, I added all of the correct minor league teams, but I am aware that I am not going to find logos for many of them, and if time permits, I'd like to add some logos that correspond with the minor league teams.

The first one I would post is the 1981+ logo of the Mariners.

Well, if it's possible to make it a little cleaner. I'm not sure if that is possible or not though. The Padres one is a bit more of a concern to me. Like I said though, no biggie if it's not a priority.

I know that there are a lot of requests made though. If someone gets the cahnce, cool, if not, I totally understand. The Padres one isn't as exciting as the ones from scratch anyways.

I worked on it a bit, honestly i think it did too much and the orginal was fine...a purest at heart maybe.

It's not silly. The cut-off of the bat is REALLY super annoying, but like you said i have seached everywhere and every logo is cut off. I just fixed it in MS Paint.

Took another shot at it. As i was walking around my room thinking i looked down and saw my new Padres sweater from Nike with the same exact logo. Cleaned it up and sized it down, it kind of looks cool. However it is not cartoonish, it still looks a lot cleaner.

Basically, we've just started a 1980s league, and I'm hoping that I can get some help making logos for the 1980 minor league affliates. Some of them are still in use today, but some are not. Some of the ones I could use help with:

-Ogden Oaks
-West Haven White Caps
-Waterloo Indians (using Chief Wahoo as a base is cool)
-Charleston Charlies (something similar to the logo in the post above with a baseball head with a derby on and a cigar in the mouth)
-Lynn Sailors

I know there are a lot of requests in the forum right now, so I'm in no rush. Thanks in advance.

I started the Charlies logo, but it is tedious work to clean up when just using MSPaint and you have to go pixel by pixel. It'll get done eventually, gives me a break from cleaning my room every hour or so.
