mlb.com kinda stinks

I was just looking at mlb.com and came to the realization that the site just kinda sucks. It's all cluttered and badly designed. Has anyone else drawn this conclusion?

A long_long_time_ago. I've always used ESPN's baseball page. MLB.com doesn't have Joe Morgan.

Perhaps Joe Morgan can tell me something about the importance of intangibles like being a good clubhouse presence.

Actually, I'd ask Jeff Conine about that.

IMO we are best off abandoning that sinking ship that is Off Topic to the rats infesting it and just starting a whole new Baseball Forum from scratch.

I don't think it's all that bad. Whatever you do don't turn to cbs.sportsline.com for baseball coverage. ESPN.com is a much better choice.

It's the only reason I never go their site.

I never go to mlb.com. I do, however, go to pirates.mlb.com and rarely use anything but the upper-left 25% where the news is listed.

It also sucks that every screen that comes up there is a pop up for MLB Radio, or something like that.

Another sucky part of the mlb.com is the unification of all official team web sites. I missed the days when every team maintain their own pages.

Maybe we should all send emails, telling them what we hate about it. It might make a difference. I mean it worked for Ross Gload. To sponsor his page costs more than $200.00 now.

I havent been to MLB.com in a long_long_time. It really should be better for being the offical website. I really dont go to nfl.com or nhl.com either.

I too hate the unified look of all the teams. I like it when each team manages their own web site. Makes for a better web page in my opinion. Also, all I use mlb.com for is to pull up Gameday for the Rangers games. I like Gameday the best of all those live box score things.

fantom1979, your avatar is from the poster for the movie Thirteen, isn't it? Have you seen that, and if so, how was it?
