run time error when creating historical league
I followed the instructions, for creating a historical league, here:
http://www.bigcitybaseball.com/historical.htm exactly, and when I click on "import league", it pops up an error box that says: -------------- Runtime Error! Program D:\400 SOFTWARE STUDIOS\OOTP5\OOTP5.EXE abnormal termination -------------- What am I doing wrong? |

Did you give your newly created league a unique name? If you duplicate a league name (such as the default New League) it will boot you out when you start to import the league.
Failing that, make sure you have the proper version of Lahman and entered the correct path to it within the game.

Yeap, I gave it a unique name (learned that by getting booted as you mentioned) and am VERY sure I have the correct version of the Lahman database. I downloaded and unzipped the collection of .cvs files as instructed. What is wrong here?

Reinstall OOTP. I'm not entirely sure what causes this problem, but reinstalling is a pretty common solution for it.
