Possible Cheating?

Wondering if you guys could help me establish if this guy is cheating. Check here:http://allbaseball.staghost.com/team2.html

Look at Eyre, Rhodes, Foppert, and all his spects, but mainly the three listed

::coughs:: This is my league, just so you all know the background of what's going on here, I accused mfitterer of cheating in his league so now he's trying to get back at me.

My league is currently in it's second season, 2004. We obviously started 2003. We used the 2002 stats from TotalMinors. I downloaded the file early/mid July, don't know what edition it is but oh well. Eyre and Rhodes I signed as free agents and I offered atleast a 1 million to 2 million more than any one else, which is why they are on my team. Foppert I traded for late in the offseason of 2003/2004 (actually 2004/2005 season). You can see who I traded. And all the spects that I acquired, you can see who I traded and you can also see their player development. I hope you all don't feel I cheated, but whatever your opinion is, well, your opinion.

look at their ratings, compare them to another league, they are totally off, way too inflated.

Hrmm... who to believe.

On one hand you have mfitterer... known liar and cheat.

On the other hand... you have (I assume) a GM who has just recently left fitterer's league after accusing Mike of cheating. This individual also has an odd avatar... but that shouldn't enter into the decision.

Hrmmm.... I'll go with the disturbing avatar any day.

On furthur review... Orion's avatar cannot be viewed as either odd or disturbing. I think flat-chested would be the best adjective.

I don't know WHAT the hell I was seeing the first time...

Eyre, Rhodes, and Foppert were all somewhat recent acquisitions. In the case of Eyre and Rhodes, they are in their first season with his club. Their ratings are higher than in other leagues, but their performance BEFORE joining his team would indicate that they were rated highly prior to this season. In the case of Foppert, the fact that he traded Casey Fossum, Ichiro, and a decent prospect to get him also indicates his ratings were high prior to him trading for them. It does not make any sense to edit players on other teams.

And even if he did bump up the ratings, it wouldn't matter a damn thing if the talent ratings weren't bumped up as well, because if they weren't; the ratings he bumped up will drop down to their suggested talent.
