Player Not Assigned a Team

I just finished the first month of a season and the monthly awards have come out. The winner of the Pitcher of the Month award was a pitcher from Baltimore but in the new article his team is listed as (). Is there any way I can fix this without screwing up my player file? Thanks in advance.

Not that I know of, it is just a hard to find glitch that shows up every now and then.

You can edit the text of your news story if you would like to. Just find the appropriate storyxxx.txt and edit it any way you like.

I've thought of doing that and that would fix the story but that isn't as big of a deal for me. What is kind of a bigger problem for me is that this player is also listed as having no team in Cato's History Utility. On the players card he is listed as being with Baltimore but when he's listed in a leaderboard in the utility he has no team associated with him.

Have you tried editting the player in Pierre's Career editor? It could be a situation where there is no-team listed for him there.

I just downloaded it yesterday but haven't had a chance to look at it yet but I will. Thanks for the suggestion. Hopefully it works. It's not that big of a deal but I would hate to see a player think he's not part of a team and then form a complex over it.
