Can't simulate postseason - How can I roll to next season

I posted this about a week ago and haven't gotten any feedback, hoping somebody can tell me how to get past this so I can continue my league - right now it just keeps rolling day to day (into late October at this point) without ever scheduling the playoff series or rolling to next year.

Is there some settings file I can edit to make it think the season is over and ready to go next season if nothing else?

I'll try to explain this correctly...I've got a custom league in its sixth season. I simulated the regular season the other night and then exited the game. (I don't remember doing anything unusual). When I go back in, the playoff matchups are on screen but when I go to the schedule and select Simulate Postseason it just goes day after day without ever playing a game. Another odd thing is that the leader boards on the standing screen - no "minimums" seem to be in place in terms of at-bats for batting average, etc. or innings pitched for ERA - a guy who had 1 scoreless inning is listed as the league ERA leader, though the cumulative stats like home runs, rbi, etc. look correct.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,
jp

Did you use ANY third party utilities with this league? Or is the schedule length or time that the season is scheduled different in ANY way?

No, I did not use any 3rd party utilities and did nothing to the schedule, it's been using the same 2-league, 4-division,162-game schedule for each of the seasons. Wasn't a problem til this last one.

Thanks

Delete playoff games, schedule one more game for each team, and see if it will re-initialize the post season. Maybe have to use Stickware? I'm not sure.

Back-up the league before you try anything. But if you have a current working back-up, save it to a different dir.

. . . check and see if they're any ties for record or teams with fewer games played than the rest of the league.

Strange prob . . .
