trouble shooting

I just got my computer back, with new everything, and i cannot get OOTP5 to "play", I can sim anything, it freezes when initializing sounds......

It never did that before, i uninstalled it and re-installed already once....help

New everything? Anyhow, why don't you disable the sounds for now?
