Team opening, not for faint of heart!!

The Crackerjack Baseball League has an opening, the California Angels.The California Angels who in the history of the Crackerjack league have not fared well.The teams former owner made little or no changes and let the team rot on the vine this season (ugh).The league is just about finishing up its 1976 season.The angels are currently 56-98 and should have a top 5 ammy pick.I have gone through the leagues waiting list (6) and all the potential owners joined or want to join a ootp4 league.We are currently using the ootp3 engine and will wait until the 1978 season to switch over to ootp4, by then all the bugs should be out of the ootp4 engine.

We are currently heading into expansion also, as Tor/Sea will be entering into the league (already have owners), thus said if you take on the awesome task of turning around this franchise an expansion list will be needed along with your acceptance.Let me know if you want to take over the Angels (ootp3) and if you do am expansion list will be needed by march 15th.Also look over the rules and feel free to ask any questions before deciding to join or not.Here is the set-up for the expansion list:

1)Each team will protect 15 players
2)There are no pullbacks
3)Only 2 players will be loss from each team.
4)Minor league players under the age of 23 & below with no prior MLB expierence will be exempt from the draft.
5)The expansion teams will draft 25-26 in the ammy draft (coin flip to determine)

PS:The Angels also need to look at their teams potential Free agents and make some major decisions.

As an owner in this league I can confirm the following ...

1. It's a great league with an excellent bunch of owners

2. The Commish works his butt off and does a fantastic job

3. The Angels are indeed a basket case that needs a very committed owner to make the ballclub competitive
