How do you approach the MLBDL after the draft. Do you leave players "on loan" after drafting them, to finish out the Draft League season? Or do you take them off loan, to play in your minors right away?
I usually always take them off the DL team so they can play in my minors...but I'm curious what others do, and am curious which would be better for development |

I let them finish loan assignments. I don't put any real thought in this, I just don't think it's a big deal.

in my latest setup, I went and shortened the schedule to 30 games during preseason. Sure, that means ending games for players who ended up undrafted, but it annoyed me seing guys taken in later rounds (collegiate guys should be playing in their teams system, IMO) who were on loan to this league.
The half season with prospects/half season with exhausted eligibility/pros is obviously too complex a setup to implement in this game, so that was how I chose to adapt |
