Statement on pBABIP Changes on Some Perfect Team Pitcher Cards

Good afternoon.

Some of you may have noticed some changes to the pBABIP values of some Perfect Team pitcher cards lately (one example being the 100 OVR CS Pedro Martinez). The changes to the cards were an unintentional byproduct of the engine changes early in May and went unnoticed at the time they happened. It's generally not our policy to change card ratings after they've been released, but in this case the team has decided to leave the changes as is.

This is a one-time thing, not intended as a precedent. This is given that the changes more closely reflect the player's performance in the given seasons than the original cards. Also, given that the changes weren't noticed for some time, the cards have probably existed with their changed values for longer than the original values, and so it makes more sense to keep the current values going forward.

this card used to be 157 vL and 85 vR. The splits modifiers were reset at some point. the base ratings are the same for every card, just evened out a lot of splits
