Historical Seasons not importing

I've attempted to play historical seasons on ootp 27, I imported my purchases and attempted to play only to have the game freeze on the importing historical seasons screen. I've tried a mixture of seasons and can seemingly only get a modern save to actually load. I would appreciate help if possible in fixing this,

Sorry to hear, could I ask for some info? Which screen/step in the game creation does it freeze?

I was able to fix the issue. My sincere apologies I couldn't find how to delete a thread whenever I found the fix
