OOTP 27 Go! iOS Launched

Hi all,
Once again we apologize for the delay, and thank everyone for their patience We are now very excited to announce that OOTP 27 Go! has been launched in the App Store!
You can find it here to download
Please note it might take some time for the store to refresh and display the app.

Also, the issue with KBO financials and settings is not patched in this release version, that fix will come in the first patch which I hope to get out asap.

And please refer to this thread for the full changelist

One side note, we were having some trouble getting the 1 million PP in-app purchase setup in the App Store, so it will take a couple days to get that working. Obviously we didn't want to delay the app release because of that, so just please note that it will appear in the PP shop, but if you try to buy it it won't find the product.

First, make sure you have the purchased package applied in Go26 (i.e. make sure the seasons are greyed out on the purchase screen). If it hasn't been applied, go to Franchise Mode > Purchase Season > tap the Restore IAP's button.

Then, tap the Export Seasons button next to it and follow the instructions. You'll need to enter an email, copy the key sent to that email.

Finally open the new app and go to the same screen, but this time tap the Load Seasons button, enter the same email, and input the new key you get sent (it'll be different than the first key). Then that should work

Does the patch process have to go through the same approval process with IOS? Just wondering if I should wait for the first patch, or if it may take a while because of the approval process. Thanks again for being so transparent.

Yes and no. It's the same approval submission process, but getting reviewed for an update is much faster than an initial review. Plus I'm going to try to reach out to expedite this patch as well right away. I don't want to give an estimate because who the heck knows with Apple right now, but I'm hoping for something early to mid-week

Just downloaded-thanks for all your work Will. I don't know if it's because the game is new to the app store but I had to come back and use the link you provided to find it. When I searched any combo of the name nothing came up. Thought I should mention it

Thanks for mentioning it, yeah your guess is correct; when an app is new it takes some number of people actually searching for the app by keywords like "ootp" and downloading the app before whatever algorithm they have realizes what app they were trying to find

Somehow figured it out without instructions. I guess I have been doing this for years.

Not sure if this is the right thread for this. But when this 1st update comes out will it be applied to people who have a current Franchise going? If not how long do people usually wait to start their own Franchise?

I believe everything in the patch will apply to ongoing seasons, except on iOS the KBO financial and settings fix will only apply to new KBO saves

Hi there! Looking to get into PT (actually the OOTP universe - this is my first Go purchase) for the first time since OOTP 21. Do you know if there are any updates on this front?

Edit: wow, I still have that old signature. Not sure how to change that!

Sadly not at the moment, Apple made some changes very recently that don't allow us (or any developer) to select a price for IAP greater than USD400, so we're currently trying to get Apple Support to manually adjust that price for us. But unfortunately as we've found they can be quite slow to respond... Maybe by Monday we'll try to pivot in some way, but at the moment there's no update unfortunately
