OOTP Re-used Player ID of a HOF

Hello everyone,

I have an interesting problem that was recently discovered in one of my fictional online leagues, NPBL.

I'm not sure when this happened or how but we noticed a recent HOF inducted player to be missing from the HOF page and everywhere in the game.

It seems like the game re-used the HOF player's ID for a new low-level 1-star prospect sometime in the last few seasons (we inducted the correct player to the HOF in 2102 and we are just about halfway through 2105).

I found the HOF player in our final OOTP24 backup (2101) but doesn't seem to be in our recent OOTP25 final backup (2104) from last season before we moved to OOTP26 for this current year (2105)

It's super frustrating to have a HOF player disappear due their PlayerID being recycled for whatever reason. I have since checked the "Don't re-use player IDs option" in settings after noticing it was unchecked.

Is there anything to do to try to correct this?
