Can someone explain to me what the editing the splits do in the player ratings. It goes overall, Vs RH, Vs, LH, Potential and then, SPLITS

It's quite literally for defining their talent "splits".

If they're a 1, they're equally good at facing both right and left handers. The more extreme the split, the worst they'll be one way or the other.

Take a player with power of 400. If they have a split of .900 they might be 415 vs L and 385 vs R. If their split is 1.100 it would be reversed.
