Simming multiple seasons

Apologize if this was asked somewhere else. Is there a way in the game to sim multiple seasons without having to use the "sim to date X" drop down? I always get error messages when I do that regarding not having enough pitchers or something.

Are you in the 1800's? That's when injuries and playing movement can result in that error. If so, turn off retire according to history and miss seasons according to history and injuries until you reach 1900. By then you can turn those back on as the team to player ratio will normalize.
