I play historical games mostly. I find the trades head scratching. I will provide one example: 1977, Steve Shutt, 25, MTL and a 3rd round pick, to PHI for Serge Savard, and Nick Libett, both in their 30s. Shutt had two 50 goal seasons in the past two seasons. Most people would not make that deal. MTL also traded a 24-year-old John Van Boxmeer to NYR for 30-year-old Walt McKechnie.

It's not just historical. The trade logic in general needs work, but they've been working on it since release.
