What am I forgetting to do?

There have been numerous instances lately of my entering a tournament, building a roster manually, and submitting the team, but when the tournament starts I field an empty roster.

Do I need to build the rosters in roster builder?

Do I need to save the rosters with the "default" roster name?

Do I need to wait until the tournament starts and then resubmit the roster? - This is a last resort thing, I often enter tournaments that start in the wee hours of the morning.

You must be forgetting to load the roster. Even when you think you are loading the roster sometimes a random popup will occur at just the right time to prevent it from loading.

I think the real problem is the UI on the front page where tournaments are listed. There are only 3 possibilities: play now, set roster, and draft team. There should be 4 possibilities because set roster is ambiguous. There should also be "load roster" informing you that your tournaments have no roster in the same way that "draft team" informs you that you have no roster.

And your idea is a great one. That would protect fools like me from ourselves. We have a saying in my business, No matter how well you idiot-proof something, eventually a big enough idiot will come along and screw things up.
