mlb labour strike

Just wondering if anyone is thinking about their long term saves, with the potential labour strike coming up. The time and effort we invest in these is unbelievable and with a potential salary cap/floor, arb changes ect, makes me worried that I'll just have to shut down my save and start over

Why would any of those things mean you will have to shut down your save and start over?

When new rules are added to MLB, OOTP gives you the option to turn on/off, such as the extra innings rule, minimum batter rule, etc. You can even incorporate them into an existing save if you want.

Yeah, this isn't Football Manager, changes don't require new saves to incorporate anything.
