Endless loop copying data
Not many user will encounter this, however, better this is fixed, even if this is considered a "user error".
Assume game is installed in: C:\Franchise Hockey Manager 12 I set the "Custom Data Path" under settings/misc to this path: C:\Franchise Hockey Manager 12 Then I create subdirectory for my custom saves there: C:\Franchise Hockey Manager 12\CustomSaves Then I set "C:\Franchise Hockey Manager 12\CustomSaves" as the new directory under the "Custom Data Path". -> FHM will endlessly copy all the files in more and more subdirectories. -> C: Drive will completely fill up -> Steam will crash Only fix I found is to rename the "C:\Franchise Hockey Manager 12" directory" and reinstall FHM 12. The immediately changing the "Custom Data Path". To have the Custom Data Path for the save files within the game directory only works, when the path was not set to the game directory beforehand. |

Yeah, using an exisitng installation location's subfolder would be an unusual thing to do, but we should add some restrictions on the file path selection so that can't happen. Thanks, we'll get that fixed.
