Financials when doing fictional league with historical players
I love to use historical players but put them into a fictional setting (like a league based in Arizona or North Carolina).
I am starting one such league in 1901. I don't want parity. I like the idea of some teams having distinct advantages over other franchises. I want dynasties and I want lovable losers who can't catch a break. Any advice on how to replicate this? For example in my Arizona League: how do I make sure Phoenix, Tucson, Flagstaff have bigger budgets and more resources than Nogales and Douglas and Tombstone?
Thanks for the help. I can't seem to find much on this. I've run a few test leagues but sometimes can't always determine cause-and-effect.
