OOTP Patch Released: 26.5.66

Summer abounds, and baseball action is heating up as we head towards the All-Star game.

We are ready to release the next patch for OOTP 26, 26.5.66.

Update Info for our webstore customers: To apply the update, simply download the setup file and install it over your current installation. There is no need to uninstall or unlicense your current copy! However, you should quit the game before installing it, of course. Updates always contain all the changes from previous updates. Saved games are compatible between different versions. Steam users the update should apply automatically when you next load up the game.

• Added option for talent influence on minors results
• Fixed some cases of players missing from rosters
• Fixed some in-game camera movements
• Fixed Facegen “upon player creation” setting to create photos for draft, IAFA players
• Fixed start date of draft combine in games when there is a short time between pool reveal and draft day
• Adjusted minor league bonus for high talent players
• Adjusted morale calculations for players with no expectations
• Roster updates (Adds hundreds of new 2025 draft prospects, adjusts ratings for many others. Also adds around 300 new DSL players to the 2025 rosters)
• Added option in preferences menu to hide some commish actions in right click menus (delete, clone, retire, etc…) Options are still available on player pages
• Adjusted player loyalty to teams they have recently played on (lower player demands from teams they were just on when they are in FA)
• Adjusted splits on player creation to be less aggressive
• Increased manual scouting on draft eligible players
• Added player drag & drop to team combine scouting screen
• Fixed draft combine not populating in games created after draft pool announcement
• Fixed off-season challenge mode start
• Fixed division leader list on WC page
• Fixed seeding in historical exhibition tournaments
• Fixed AI adjusting majors roster when minors over limit
• Adjusted scouting potential display for players in 26-30 age range
• Fixed foul catch animations
• Development/Aging balance:
• *Slightly increased Stuff development
• *Slight increase babip/avoid K development
• *Slight slow avoid K aging
• *Adjust control development (some faster, some slower)
• Fixed players incorrectly appearing on military service list
• Updated contract counter offers, negotiation mood, etc..
• Fixed missing minor league historical stats import
• Online Leagues: Fixed some issues with contract offers appearing out of order in history
• Online Leagues: Fixed issues with team assignments
• Updated Sutter Health Park Model
• PT: Fixed clubhouse shop column display
• PT: Added banner display
• PT: Added timer for clubhouse shop items that expire
• PT: Reworked IAP items display
• PT: Fixed clubhouse shop refresh/crash
• PT: sorting by release will now sort by name as secondary
• PT: hovering over the saved tournament field will show a hint
• PT: Sorting of “Add to variant boost” options
• PT: Added new IAP error messages
• PT: added banner for theme weeks
• PT: Added saved tournaments, title extra field, and release date to list view as options
• PT: Variant Boost page now includes information about players on saved tournament rosters
• PT: Added pbabip and release date to card shop sort
• PT: Fixed tag to variant boost option selection and colored the text
• PT: Disabled tag to variant boost option for cards that are on the active roster
• PT: Added warning before submitting a mission if a variant is included
• PT: Fixed clubhouse card list creating endless buttons
• PT: Fixed clubhouse card list expanding variant and non variant cards at the same time
• Misc roster updated, misc bug fixes, UI fixes

Important info for online leagues: Once the commissioner has updated their file, all league members will need to have updated in order to continue.

Here's a PC installer (Fastspring) that installs into a single folder, which is useful for external HDs for example. Or for creating a second test install of the game, so you can try the patch out without the risk of messing up your main install of the game if something is wrong in the patch:

Does the roster update include the Devers trade? Is there anything specific that needs to be done to use the new roster or can I just start a new standard game?

In my White Sox save I had the first pick and Colorado the second pick of the 2025 draft. Was this also solved or was this a setting in my save I suddenly switched on or off?

The Standard Roster set would not include the Devers trade as it stays with Opening Day rosters.

There is a Live Start option you can use to start the season in progress, which should include the trade if you start after it occurred.

You could also easily edit the Standard Game rosters to make the Devers change yourself as long as you aren't using Challenge Mode.

I'm downloading the Mac version and keep getting 26.4.56

Edit: Just tried again and it worked.

love that draft scouting was adjusted. Now it's like 25 but with a combine.

This patch broke the salary demand column, it is now completely useless with almost all players showing blank.

Yes, but as soon as you upgrade to this file, then everyone in your league must but as the GM you don't, and even if they upgrade, they can still use your file.

What do you mean? Are you saying that its once again super simple to get every draft prospect up to very high accuracy before the combine? Really hope that isn't the case. It was finally working closer to how it works in real life.
