Several questions

Hello, I purchased the game a couple of months ago and have been keeping a list of questions while progressing through the game. I'll list them below and my apologies in advance if they were already answered somewhere and I missed them.

1) I have the box checked under Manager Options to manage Staff for the AHL and ECHL team, however I cannot hire a GM for them? Also, the GM or AI will randomly fire or re-assign the asst. coaches even though this box is checked?
2) Regarding the Training screen, I did read somewhere on here that it's recommended to let the AI handle it. However, sometimes I'll go to that screen and it is blank, does that mean the AI is running it in the background, or does it reset at certain times? Because other times I'll go there and there are boxes checked, but not what I would expect those players to be training on. Is player improvement more driven from the checkboxes or the quality of the coaching staff?
3) Is there a way to get the GM's of the AHL and ECHL affiliates to sign additional players? I've gone through some seasons where they fill out the roster to 25 players and sometimes they only fill it out to 20 players, then a player will get hurt and they still don't sign a replacement. I've tried signing players to the teams as well, but have not found a way to do that.
4) Is there a screen you can see all players on the trade block, not just your own?
5) Is there a screen to see pending trade offers that I have submitted? This would be helpful, because sometimes I will have a trade that I submitted a day or two prior that still hasn't gone through, however I'll be working on another trade and a draft pick I offered in the previous trade still shows up on the list to offer again. There should at least be an indication that the draft pick or player is involved in a pending offer.
6) Is there a screen to see the current waiver claim order?
7) Is there a screen to see players that I have loaned to a team in another league? I've loaned them out at the beginning of the year, then I forget that I have them under contract until I get a notification during the season that they had a good game or got suspended.
8) I've only done one save thus far as the GM/Head Coach for an NHL team and every year my team has several hundred more giveaways and takeaways than the next closest team, is this normal or will it be different if I hire a head coach? I'm 15 seasons in, I've won a few Championships, but I've never had someone lead the league in scoring. I'll acquire a guy that has scored 100+ the previous 2 seasons and he'll only score 65-70 for me. Or I'll have a top guy scoring 50-60 consistently that I'll trade and then they go score 80-90+ consistently somewhere else. Worth noting that I do not see this issue with my AHL or ECHL teams that I'm not coaching, so I'm leaning toward just doing GM my next save, but I wouldn't expect there to be that big of a gap in stats.

The below are not questions, but issues or improvements I would like to see in the game.

1) To be able to select my AHL or ECHL affiliate from the team drop down menu regardless of which team I'm in. (I cannot go directly from the ECHL to the AHL or vice versa, I have to go back to the NHL team to get to the other affiliate, very frustrating when trying to go through teams and make changes).
2) I have repeatedly been given an owner goal to draft a player from the teams state in the next draft, however this goal is given in Sept. for the next years draft and has a target date of July 5th, the day before the draft, so it always fails me for that goal.
3) There are a lot of players that retire much earlier than real life, I'm seeing players still on top of their game retiring at 34 or 35. It's much more rare to see them retire at 39 or 40 as you would expect.
4) It would be nice to get a notification when AHL or ECHL coaches leave and have the AI not sign a random replacement. (I then have to release that replacement to sign someone better and have the financial penalty for releasing the other coach.)
5) When scouts retire, it would be great if the retirement note listed their location, so I could more easily hire a replacement, instead of looking through the maps and trying to figure it out. When I try to pull up their profile from the note, it takes me to some other random scout.

Thanks for any assistance, I'm enjoying the game, but there is definitely room for improvement.

1. No, you can't hire a GM for your farm teams
2. Players are always training regardless of boxes being are checked. When boxes are checked, that simply puts extra focus on those areas. Most effective with players who have a wider gap between current ability and potential. Quality of coaching staff does have an impact, but not huge I believe.

4. Go to NHL drop down and transactions.
5. Should be able to see those on your manager home screen.
6. Manager home screen
7. Your depth chart
8. This is a bug when you have it set to Own Team Games 2D, rest classic. The fix is the select Own League 2D/Rest Classic. It's slower sim speed, but it works. It's likely due to the tactics your using, player roles, and line mates.

I also have had issues with #2 & #5 from your improvements list (bottom list). I have brought issues up in the past, but nothing ever gets fixed.

Good game, but yes I agree, there is much room for improvement. But they seem more interested in adding new features, and getting next years version out, rather than fixing existing problems.

You can't see pending trade offers on the manager screen. I think you're maybe
confusing that with contract offers.

It's an area that needs improving, either a trade offers screen/section, or some
way of highlighting players/picks that are part of a pending offer.
I've made trade offers, and then had the other team trade one of the players
involved while I'm waiting for a reply. My offer then just disappears into
a black hole, with no response or acknowledgment that the offer has now been cancelled etc..

Also there is currently a bug with trading picks in the days immediately prior
to the draft. e.g. if the draft is on July 3rd and you make a trade offer
on July 1st or 2nd that includes a pick, that offer will again just disappear into a black hole.
You have to wait until July 3rd when the draft becomes active, then make your offer,
and it will get 'finalized' immediately if successful.

Thanks Castleview, I was figuring that was the case after I pulled up that screen to look, I didn't find anywhere to show pending trades. I also recently noticed that I could propose a trade on draft day with picks for that year's draft and get them to go through immediately. On another note, I believe the Waivers section only shows players available on waivers, but not the team waiver order to claim players.
