For those who manage each game

Is it me or do you notice that, with a runner on first, the Catcher snap throw to firstbase for an out happens way too often?

Lol. I have maybe seen it once or twice in about 200 games in 26.
I see posts like this all the time..In my league, I see a lot of this or not enough of that. And then the posts are split. I have a novel idea on why you see something I don't. Once you start playing a game, all leagues go somewhat fictional. Then there are all the different settings we all use, and the different league evolution, so one player sees too many runners being thrown out, or too many catcher pick-offs at first base, or every (OK, most) Hit and run, or bunt attempts being fouled off. This, to me, is a feature and a great one, and not a bug. These are strictly my thoughts.

I don't disagree with the general thought in Bobfather's reply, but will say the 2-3 pickoff attempt is a little more in my games in OOTP 26 than real life, no question. But there's also an astounding number of 9-5 throwouts as guys try to get to 3B on a double. I will say it doesn't seem like a bias that affects my results, though. That would be key, but otherwise I see it as a bit of oddity and keep moving with the feeling that my record is not affected at the end of the day.

David Duval, 1999 @ Carnoustie -- "It's only unfair if they let the other guys play a different course." That quote has influenced a lot of my life, including the scenario of this post.

No. My impression is the C throwing to 1b in OOTP is probably in line with real life. I don't see a lot of this when watching real games or playing out games in OOTP. Add to that when there is a throw in OOTP I rarely see it result in an out.
