Wnba 2025
Pretty happy to see the excitement over the upcoming season.
Paige in Dallas has been confirmed at the "2". She won't need to bring the ball up the court, and can concentrate on scoring. Haven't seen which team is the pre-season favorite....I guess Indiana, given all the hype, and influx of really good players. Edit..I just checked. Bettors have the New York Liberty winning it all, coming out of the Eastern Conference. They have the Liberty beating the Fever in the Conference. Gonna be fun. A lot of public money is coming in on Indiana. I am not sure if they are the fourth best team. But after the top 3, there is a pretty large drop off. Connecticut elected for a full rebuild and other teams are on the come up. I would be incredibly surprised if the champion was not one of New York, Las Vegas or Minnesota. |

Certainly an interesting start to the season, but clearly the Lynx and Liberty are the two best teams.
And the Sun are awful, worse even than the expansion Valkyries -- who at least play hard. |

Las Vegas can look so good some nights, and then just look so disinterested other nights. It is a bizarre to watch.

Like a lot of professional teams at their level, they're just looking at the playoffs. Their season will be determined by postseason, and they can sleepwalk through the regular season and qualify. But as you point out, being disinterested is not a good way to approach any game, and that habit is hard to break if you spend 40 games alternating back and forth. In any single game, though, they can beat anyone. |
