When you were expected to be competitive with maybe a shot, only to watch helplessly as you slide towards the bottom of the standings... but towards some really compelling top three draft prospects !! Losing has its rewards !!

Only to watch helplessly as you start turning it around late August and all September, to climb pointlessly towards the middle of the standings, working your way through each pointless "w" from what could have been a great first year amateur draft. That. Is the worst.

I'm running a Royals franchise where I got Jackson Holliday in a good trade and I currently have the number 2 pick in the draft. And Ethan Holliday is right there for the taking! Not a bad haul.
