Edit ballparks in Perfect Team

Haven't played this awesome game since '21. Back at it. In perfect team you were able to edit your ballpark, add Longitude/Latitude, dimensions etc.. You can't do that anymore, or does the option spring up in pre-season? I know you can edit them in historical league, but not in perfect team anymore?

A few years ago in PT it was changed so that you can select from a number of historical parks which you can unlock in various ways.

That's why it's gone. Half the ballparks were max one way and min the other.

We formed a 6 man league where each owner had 2 teams and could change ballparks for every series (in addition to trading players freely from one team to the other). It was sheer chaos.

So I chose Union Grounds - Brooklyn for my ballpark.

I edited it in the editor with the cinci grounds one of the forum guys made.

I didnt see any 'custom' default stuff for Union Grounds.

Is it going to transfer over to perfect team or I am I stuck with Heinsolm even though it's Union?

If you have any Screens of Union would you pls so kind to post them? TY TY TY

So here is 'Union Grounds' -- in the Youtube video Nico did with Dr Dynastic he said you guys researched historic ballparks. This is not Union Grounds. Pls explain.

Yeah, so what I'm seeing is correct. Before, you'd just enter Long/Lat so you could have weather accustomed to your 'city', make your own dimensions, fence height, build your team accordingly. So now, yeah I can choose a long list of real stadiums, which is alright. What's weird is in the 2 high gold , seasons finished so far, everyone that I looked at were using the same default, generic stadium, lol. 1000's across the board. Oh well.

Are you watching a replay of a PT game? You can't watch 'live', I'm pretty sure.

Yeah, we aren't able at this time to get 3D models of those historic parks to officially use in PT (or use the 3D modded parks people have done for those, but if there's a way to get those to line up with the modded parks, that'd be great!), so that's were we get the new 3D-editor parks in their place (which replaces the one default stadium for every single non-MLB/KBO stadium).


When it comes to "researching historic ballparks," I can't speak for him, but I think that has moreso to do with park factors and such rather than the actual 3D models.

You can only change ballparks before the season starts Monday morning, after the season ends (if you are not in the playoffs), or after you are eliminated from the playoffs (if you are in the playoffs). You cannot change ballparks while the season or postseason is underway.

As for which ones you can choose, you are limited to the ones you have unlocked. I believe you start getting additional ballparks to select from once you make it to Iron League, and then a few more as you progress each level. There are also ones you can get via mission rewards.

I tried changing parks yesterday, Monday and select those without the divisions shown and I was not in the postseason and I still could not change parks. Don't know why this has to be so difficult.

I last played OOTP 23, and in perfect team you could import Silvam's wonderful 3d models for your team, although the park factors were restricted to the same limitations as everyone else so there was no funny business (at least from my limited knowledge).

Just chose Exhibition Stadium for my team's first season this morning. I'm not sure if it's a generic model or some other stadium but it sure isn't Exhibition Stadium. Disappointed my guys can't play in the Baker Bowl like they used to, or actual representation of Exhibition Stadium for that matter.

For future consideration might as well allow us to import any model we want as long as the pre determined park factors are automatically applied. If the park modifiers are what's used for the sim, the 3d model shouldn't matter. Perhaps I'm mistaken, and yea this is a niche request of low to non-existent priority.

I would like to change the signage to make it more realist for the park I use. I understand this is low priority compare to the $ making stuff.

I loved the old school ads on the 19th and early 20th century 3rd party parks about tobacco and soap and whatnot.

Yea you heard us OOTP, prioritize importation of ball parks. We got at least 3 backers out of this whole community.
