Pulled a Cool Papa Bell today & he's not showing up on gameday

Pulled a Cool Papa today & immediately put him in my lineup.

He shows up on my team screen, in my lineup & also my staff but he is absent from the box score & hasn't accumulated any stats.

Tori Hunter keeps starting in CF & CPB is nowhere to be found. Is this something I am doing wrong? or a card/game error? I've waited 3 games & he hasn't played once.

closed the game, which I thought I had already tried, & he played.
