Password Login Issues
I was never able to login to Perfect Team in OOTP 24. I bought the game late so I figured I'll just wait until '25.
I have an email I used to play PT back in '20 and '21 but when trying to log in with the old password in '24 and '25 I got the 'invalid credentials' message. When I try to reset the password I get a message by the password reset system that I've already tried to reset the password within the last 24 hours, not the case. I also can't set up a new account with this email. So I used a new email, which worked for some time on PT until I was knocked out of the game a couple of days ago and couldn't sign back into my PT account. So for a couple of days now, since I have to wait 24 hours between tries, I've tried to reset my password. When I type and retype a new password into both rectangular boxes, I hit reset and my password lengthens both places in less than a second from what I typed "********" to double or triple in length "********************" or longer before it takes me to the OOTP login page. So obviously my new password is this 20 or so character line but I have no idea what to use. I have no password for OOTP in password manager. I have turned off all autofill options in my browsers. I tried using Edge and Chrome, tried a laptop. This also happened on my iPhone when trying to sign up for Twitch drops. I can change my password on ten different unrelated sites in an hour without any issues whatsoever at all. I've already bought close to 200k PT Points and should still have over 120k on this new account and was enjoying playing the tournaments quite a bit. This is extraordinarily frustrating. Has anyone else come across this issue especially where your new password gets doubled or tripled in length with no time to fix? Any suggestions for what I might try next? Thanks folks Last edited by JanesAddctn; 03-23-2024 at 11:42 PM. |

PT, in PT23, had to switch servers, so if you're just coming in for the first time in a while, and you didn't do a team in PT24, you will need to re-register your account entirely with the same username and email you used in the past.

Thanks Dishnet but the real problem I'm having is not being able to get back into the new account I created this year.
I think had I used the same name when creating a new account on my old email, you're right it probably would've worked. I can't sign into the new account I was already playing on in PT 25. The password reset system seems to automatically lengthen my password in the blink of an eye before taking me to the login page. I've tried using my desktop, work laptop, my wife's, my phone (for Twitch drops) to reset the password. All four places the result is the same, the password I type into the boxes will be some characters "***" and after hitting reset I watch the password in both boxes go to "*****************" and I have no earthly clue what my new password is at all. I've watched this happen on four different devices now. Am I really the only person this is happening to, starting to feel special, not in a good way. When registering with previous username and email, it claims username is already in use.

I was able to use that user name with a different e-mail to log into perfect team this year. But in previous years I would have had a different e-mail address.

I can't access my new PTs in OOTP Go 24 either. Seems like you will only be able to access teams created in OOTP 25 with OOTP GO 25. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

No problems in OOTP 25, but getting the same error you were last year. And like you I have purchased a small amount of packs I cannot use now.
Quite obviously this email & password works to login here to complain, but not in the game itself. The minute I hit "submit", a whole bunch of characters are added to the password field and the login (in the game) fails. Which prompts a reset password request ... lather-rinse-repeat. Come on OOTP, you can (or should) do better than this, not rocket science by any stretch. AND BY THE WAY ... ONE password change request per day? Had I known that I would never have joined in the first place. |
