Draft class without HS players, Draft Combine all fictional

My draft pool for a league created on Build 42 only contains 2 mediocre high school players, and the Draft Combine has lots of superstar fictional players in it. I have tried multiple times to re-run the draft class but it comes up the same every time. I created a link to my iCloud file but was unable to add it via FTP to the OOTP server, perhaps because I am using a Mac. This issue is a week old and I can’t move forward without a resolution. If this needs to be done a different way, please assist me whatever way you can and I will follow your instructions. This has already gotten beyond my level of computer literacy! Thank you.

I’m having the same problem in Build 45, initial leagues were Build 42. Is there something about my request preventing it from getting attention from technical support? This is my second post, the first was ~10 days ago. The link to my .dat files is above. I can provide a link to the zipped full league file if needed. This is a fatal concern in my eyes… I cannot play the game without this being resolved. Any assistance is appreciated.

I think we just have not had the time to look more closely at this.

The HS players should generally generate closer to the draft when we're loading fictional players, so you just may need to sim ahead for that.

When you say superstar fictional players' what exactly do you mean?

If you just mean that there are fictional player being generated, this is likely just working as intended as you should see some fictional players even as soon as the 2nd draft in.

There's nothing in a patch that would retroactively change this, so even if there is a fix at some point, you'll likely need to start a new league to see it.

This happened in Year 1. It started with 2 HS players in the class, then populated with all fictional players closer to the draft. The Draft Combine was almost entirely fictional players right from the start.
By superstar, I mean that the Draft Combine has ~15, 70-80 grade players, while the top real life players are 65 & below.

Ok, we'll take a look at this as it does sound like something is a bit off.

The generated prospects will usually come in a bit hotter than the real ones, so that is not necessarily unexpected, but there shouldn't be only two real HS guys in year one.

If you start a new league in build 45, do you see the same thing there?

Yes. Every game I start generates this draft class scenario. I am on a Mac, if that matters.

It shouldn't matter.

This is weird, because I do not see the same thing here, so it really hard to say what might be going on for you.

If you go to settings > troubleshooting > force reinstall game data (or on Steam, verify local files in the Steam app), then try to create a new league, does that change things at all?

Also, how are you creating the league? Is it through the new standard game or a custom game? Live start or regular? Any leagues other than MLB loaded?

Standard league, starting at the beginning of the off-season. Only MLB.
I will attempt a new league after following your instructions.

I suspect the issue is with the offseason start. There was an issue with the import for the real life draft eligible players that we fixed up in the main start, but it's possible the fix may not have been correctly applied to the offseason start.

I started a league both ways after the force reinstall of game data, I am only having the issue with the beginning of the off-season game start. Any estimate on when you might have that fixed? That’s my favorite feature… I’ve been asking for it every version for 10+ years! That said, if you need time to work it out, I can just play from the regular start date.

Hard to say at the moment, will probably have a better idea early in the week.

Hi Lukas et al,
Started a new game and the draft class was there to start. Then I moved the draft date forward and turned on trading of draft picks, and it is back to 2 high school players in the draft. This was a regular start, not beginning of the off-season. The entire draft system seems very fragile… is this going to be addressed?
