Historical Mode - Can't Change Jersey Numbers

So I am unable to change jersey numbers for my players. The option is greyed out. I did some research (googling) and found some posts saying that I had to be in commissioner mode to be able to do this.

Well, when I checked my manager, "Commissioner mode" was, in fact checked. Not only was it checked, but anytime I uncheck it, when I navigate away from the manager options and back to the manager option the "commissioner mode" box is checked again. I can uncheck it but it does not remain unchecked.

Anyone have any input on this?

That happened to me the first time I played, but the next time I played, editing numbers was no problem. hth!
