Development Training Plan-All Players?

Recently I watched an OOTP video and it was suggested to take your top players and change the default development in the Development Training Plan to what I want or use the AI suggestion.

I do this for my top players and prospects, but should I do this all players?

I'm about as much of a control freak as it gets with my minor league players and even I would never manually control all my player's development. Sometimes the pursuit of 100% fully optimized, detracts from what makes a game fun in the first place. Just let your coaches handle that

I'm only focused on my majors, AAA depth, and top prospects. Minor league filler gets auto setting.
