25 year bug?

I have a player in a fictional league who is getting ready to start his 29th season. The league started in 1925 and it is now the beginning of the 1963 season. My player began playing in 1935 at the major league level. A few years in the minors before that. After the 1959 season (his 25th year in the majors) the game stopped keeping track of his statistics. During the season it lists his stats from 1935 - 1959 and then whatever his stats are for the current year and updates his career stats with his stats from 1935-1959 plus whatever he has done during the current season. But once the season is over his current stats are gone and only his career stats from 1935-1959 are left. I did NOT use the unretire utility, he has just never retired. Also when I open up the career leaders screen he is still listed as second in the all time home runs list, even though he is easily in first now. Is there some sort of 25 year bug? If someone provides me instructions on how to do a screen capture I can provide them. I can do one of his offseason html report and one during the next season provided someone gives me instructions.

It is a limitation that was set within the coding of the game.

Probably didn't expect anyone to play 25 years, some players have though, didn't Phil Niekro. Your guy has to be at least 47 by now right? Wow

If you want to call it the bigs. Like I said originally, it is a fictional league. He was a created player, and his team was very weak at catcher (his position), so he called up pretty quickly.

I had this happen also, with a pitcher. Even worse, however, was that his rookie season stats were totally messed up (for instance - the year, which should have been 1901, turned into a six or seven digit number). He is legitimately the all-time Wins leader, but the stat screw-up also made him about 4th all-time in saves, also. My question is, is there any way to edit the player's stats?
