Stupid 2D Sim Moments

So I just gave up 2 goals shorthanded in what was an 8-3 game (leading), both off clearing plays in the defensive zone. First one was a terrible rebound to the bottom of the faceoff dot where the puck sat there for 5 second and the goalie just stood there before they put it in the empty net. The second was right off the shot. This is not the first time I've seen either happen. It's never happened twice in 5 seconds. And I've never been the benefactor.


Can these stupid things stop happening? It's unrealistic and annoying, and ruins my experience.
