Stat Complexity Tied to Historical Year

When doing historical sims, I like to customize the listed stats. I like to hide the sabrmetrics stuff and limit myself to rudimentary counting stats like runs, hits, etc. It’s adds a depth of realism to nineteenth century saves, especially. I’d love to see an option under League Settings>Stats & AI where you can tie the displayed stats to the complexity of what was available during the historical year.

For example, Pete Palmer first developed on base percentage (his term for it was ‘on base average’) in 1979. With the option enabled, the human player wouldn’t have access to calculated on base percentage in the game between historical years 1871-1978.

I simply watch my leagues play out acting as a super fan or a very hands off commissioner. I would absolutely love it if this could be added to the game. Especially, if it played into the into how the AI votes for the Hall of Fame and league awards.
